As per the e-mail description, I understand that you are looking forward to avail for a set of XP recovery CDs for the unit so that you can reinstall the original Operating System that was shipped along with the unit.

Erik, in order to get the replacement recovery disc/ unit serviced, you would require contacting the HP UK Support. We at the HP Global Support Team shall provide you assistance for all technical queries regarding the HP Products. We have options only to assist you in remote troubleshooting and isolating the issue. For any hardware support you would require contacting the local HP Country Support as it may also involve physical examination of units and shipping of parts.
