Hi,

I would have wanted a second opinion about this, please.

So if I could please get this escalated to your line-manager.

Best regards,

Erik Ribsskog

Hello,

We have investigated the reported account and have found that it’s not in violation of the Twitter Rules (https://twitter.com/rules) at this time. We have a policy against violent threats, but the content of this account lacks the specificity to meet the criteria of an actionable threat.

Receiving these types of messages can be frustrating; however, removing content does not resolve the issue, but instead can make the situation worse. Threats do not simply disappear – if someone means you harm, working with local authorities to defuse the threat and address the root of the issue is the best solution. Removing the evidence of the threat makes it difficult for it to be investigated by law enforcement.

If something has gone beyond the point of a personal conflict and has turned into actual violent threats that you feel are credible, whether it be online or offline, you should contact your local authorities so they can accurately assess the validity of the threat. Websites do not have the ability to investigate and assess a threat, bring charges or prosecute individuals.

If contacted by law enforcement directly, we can work with them and provide the necessary information for their investigation of your issue. You can point local law enforcement to our Law Enforcement Guidelines here: https://support.twitter.com/articles/41949

It’s also a good idea to contact a trusted individual such as a friend or family member. If you are dealing with a potential legal issue, please contact a lawyer. Twitter cannot provide legal advice.

If you believe the content or behavior you are reporting is prohibited in your local jurisdiction, please contact your local authorities so they can accurately assess the content or behavior for possible violations of local law. If Twitter is contacted directly by law enforcement, we can work with them and provide assistance for their investigation as well as guidance around possible approaches. You can point local law enforcement to our Law Enforcement Guidelines here: https://support.twitter.com/articles/41949.

Thanks,

Hi,

if I had written that I would have got the police on my door.

It's a threath.

Twitter seems to think that mafia-threats are such a lovely part of free
speach.

And I have to hear this from a something-saurus.

This isn't jurasic stuff, this is new-age stuff.

Since it's so degenerated.

Twitter is destroying the world with it's degenerated 160 symbol-messages
and even more degenerated custommer-support.

Try to say that in 160 symbols.

Hello,

We understand that everyone has different levels of sensitivity towards content, and that you may feel uncomfortable with the posted content. However, Twitter provides a communication platform, and users may use our service to discuss controversial subject matter.

If a specific user is posting content that you disagree with or otherwise find offensive, we have provided you with the ability to block the user. For more information on blocking users, see: https://support.twitter.com/entries/117063

Twitter believes strongly in the importance of free speech and works to ensure that such speech is maximized. Limiting speech on Twitter (and other social communication tools) could result in the highly undesirable outcome of speech that is allowed offline being restricted online. We are strongly opposed to this, as this could cause issues with the practical expression of information.

Thanks,

Om meg

Bildet mitt
