I'm refering to your letter from 20/2, (which I attach a scanned copy of), which I recieved yesterday, in the post.
I was on three meetings in connection with that I moved in here, in May.
(One meeting, when I got to see the flat.
One meeting, at your Kirkdale office, where I was given the keys, to the flat.
And one meeting, a couple of months later, when the Housing Officer Sarah sneaked in with the electricians, who were here, due to that the electricity in the roof, didn't work, for the whole flat).
On none of these meetings, it was informed to me, that the Council pay you, for the lifeline-alarm.
This was news to me.
Housing Officer Sarah told me when she sneaked in here, that these were something that the previous owner had installed, and which you hadn't removed, in case some tenants still wanted them.
(Something like this).
Also, I had electricity as a hobby, as a teenager.
(Since a mate of mine, had this as a hobby).
It might not look like that since I didn't fix the smoke-detector, myself.
But in Norway these aren't on the mains, (they are powered only by 9 volt batteries, as I remember it).
And I didn't have a ladder, like on of the electricians had.
And he fitted the new smoke-detector badly.
I've told you at LHT that you don't have to send repair-guys, to fit the smoke-detector, again.
I don't really like repair-guys.
(They are quite ofte rude towards me, I think I have to say.
Possibly because I'm from Norway).
And don't want them here, unless it's really needed.
Is it really needed to send repairs-guys here due to the lifeline-alarm, I'm wondering?
I've disconected it already, since I have had electricity as a hobby, so I have some skills in that field.
Since I didn't like it, that the lifeline-people, could listen, trought the lifeline-alarm, on what was being said, in the flat.
You should have removed these, when you bought the flats, I think.
And not when people live in them.
It's the same with the gate.
You should have investigated how the gate works, when you bought Keith Court.
(Since you've told me, right before Christmas, that you didn't know that the gate locked automatically, at 6PM).
So LHT have been a bit sloppy, it seems to me, when they bought Keith Court, (from Vincinity, I think it was, that Housing Officer Sarah said, (when she sneaked in with the electricians), that was the previous owner).
Is it really necessarry to have rude repair-guys here, because of the lifeline-alarms, I'm wondering now.
You should just cancel them with the Council.
You don't need to annoy people with rude repair-guys, when it isn't really necessary, it seems to me.
Just something I was wondering about.

Subject: Lifeline Alarm (Complaint)
I'm refering to your letter of 22/8, which I recieved today.
I'm not interested in any lifeline-alarm.
This isn't anything that Landlords should deal with I think.
Are you my landlord or my doctor?
I've also got the Order of St. John in my line, in Norway, (which I had to find about in a newspaper-archive), and wonder if this is some plot, from them?
I don't want people here to discuss things I'm not interrested in.
This is a waste of my time and an invasion of my privacy, I think.
Is it a new law that says everyone have to have these alarms?
I don't think so.
This is just some funny stuff.
You at LHT are trying to be my landlord and my doctor at the same time here.
That's not fine, I think.
It's like in the Soviet then, I think.
You have earlier dragged me to your office in Walton Road, to discuss disrepair, I thought, only to find out that you wanted to discuss adoption with me.
Are you a landlord or the inner mission?
You have a bishop as a president I see, so I have to wonder.
I just want a tenancy and no crusader-stuff.
I wonder about this so I send it to the TPAS and the Norwegian Embassy, (since I'm from Norway).
