Cheers mates. I get it. If its any consolation the media here in Norway is even worse. Today they only focus on United being beaten, Shite (as allways) winning and that overrated twat Carew scoring a goal. Most papers dont even mension our win at all. The only one who did, focused on Keanes team getting hammered, not us producing a fantastic perfomance.

The media is overrated!

I'm a Norwegian living on Merseyside, and I sometimes watch MOTD, when I have the time, and then it seems to me that, even
if Gary Lineker, who is presenting MOTD, used to play for Everton in the eighties. (At least for one season, the 85/86 season
I think it was).

Even if he did this, he doesn't seem to say that many positive things about Everton, and he sometimes forget to mention Everton
when he's reading the table etc.

At least it seems that way to me.

But I can only speculate about what the reason for this could be.

And Everton has usually been on at the end of the programme the times I've been watching it, so one could maybe start to wonder
what the reason behind this could be.

Could it have been a problem between Lineker and Everton in the eighties, that led to Lineker only playing one season for Everton?

Could it have been something that has happened later on?

It's not really that easy for me to say for certain, but I think it can sometimes seem like it could maybe be some reason behind this,
that hasn't got out.

Even if this would only be speculation.

I also remember that it seemed to me that Lineker didn't like Sven Göran Eriksson very much he was the England manager, and he
had often a remark of some kind about Sven, like he's usually calling him.

I just remembered this while I was writing now.

I could be wrong, but at least this is how it seems to me from watching the programme.
