I was concerned to learn that you were disappointed with the quality of the beef in the meal deal that you recently bought.
I’m sorry that on this occasion we didn’t live up to your expectations.
Our aim is to produce fresh and delicious products at excellent value for our customers. Our buyers and food technologists choose companies which can provide this quality for us, and we closely monitor our suppliers to check that they’re upholding our high standards.
Your comments are useful because they help us improve. I’ve contacted the supplier who produced your food to make sure that the problem you experienced doesn’t repeat itself.
As a gesture of our goodwill,I will be sending you a letter and gesture of goodwill, for you to use when you next shop with us.
I was really sorry to hear that you were unhappy with some of our other products. We have several suppliers for these products and we need to check the codes on the packaging. We need the ID code, the best before date and the manufacturing code. This will tell us where it came from, so we can investigate fully with the supplier.
The ID code can be found by the barcode on the packaging. The best before date is on the front of the packaging (in most cases) and the manufacturing code is a three digit number in bar code area.
