Hello,

this is Erik from Norway.

I've been reading a bit about the Doomsday Clock, on the internet etc.

So I was wondering a bit, if you have a gadget, for blogs etc., that

one can put on the blog,

and then, when the Atom Scientist resets the doomsday-clock at the

University of Chicago,

then the Doomday Clock on the blog also resets.

Have you please got a link to where this gadget is?

Other than that, I was wondering, which Atom Scientist, it was, who

got to reset the clock

a total of seven minutes back(!), in 1991, after Reagan and

Gorbatsjovs meeting in Iceland.

I was also wondering if this with the atombomb etc., could be a trick.

Like, I know that in Chicago, in the 30's, then Al Capone was put in jail.

But I was wondering, what if the mobsters kept control, also in the

40's, and that this with

the atom-bomb, is a scam, invented by the mob, to control the world?

Since I read on Wikipedia, that the same Atom Scientits, that reset

the Doomsday Clock,

on the University of Chicago, also contributed on the work on the atom-bomb.

Because, let's face it, everyone knows that the atom is the smallest

thing in the Universe.

Yet, it is claimed that this, the smallest thing in the Universe, can

cause the biggest

explosion, on earth.

Let's face it, it sounds a bit like a scam, don't you think(?)

I mean, plutonium, which is the 'activ ingrediense', in the atom-bomb,

is named after the

Roman God, Pluto, which was the God of death and the God of the underworld.

It seems a bit like something that Al Capone & Co. could have made up,

don't you think?

And this with the heavy-water.

I mean.

People are supposed to walk around all their lifes, being afraid of

the smallest thing on earth,

(the atom), and the most usual thing on earth, (water).

I mean, seriously, it's a joke, right?

Nudge, nudge, like I've seen on TV, that they say in Britain etc.

Anyway.

And why is Pluto, in Donald Duck, not talking, when Goofy is, even if

they are both dogs.

It means something is wrong, don't you think?

Do you think it's because Pluto's blond?

Blond means stupid, like in the blondie-jokes we have in Norway, you think?

Anyway.

I'm sorry that I went a bit away from the topic in the e-mail.

But do you think, that this fact that plutonium, a very lethal

material, is named after the

God of death Pluto, do to that the monicules, in the material, did

that it fitted after Neptunium,

in the periodic-table.

I think this is to unlikely, to be probable.

How about yourself?

And how about this, that the planet Pluto, now has been voted, by a

commision, of scientists,

that it's no longer a planet.

Even if the scientists, in the 30's told the public, that Pluto was

the ninth planet.

What does this show us?

Does it show us, that one can't always trust blindly, what scientists say?

Does this mean, that that Pluto was a planet, was a joke, and thus,

that plutonium also was a joke?

Can atom-scientists, be trusted to tell what's true, more than

astronomers can be trusted?

I hope you understand that I'm a bit sceptical to the atom-bomb, after

reading about all these things, that could

seem a bit to incredible to be true, with these not so probable

coinsidents, with the name of the material plutonium,

and the problems with the planet Pluto, (and also the dog Pluto, in

Donald Duck).

And that one must admit, even at the University of Chicago, that this

with that a small atom, can cause the biggest

explosion on earth, sounds more like magic really, than like science,

if one think about it, don't you think?

So I hope it's possible to please get a link to the gadget for the

live Doomsday Clock, or the url to the webcam,

that shows the Doomsday Clock live.

And sorry if I asked a lot of questions, that didn't have to do with

the Doomsday Clock.

Yours Sincerely,

Erik Ribsskog
