Dear Mr
Ribsskog

Your reference:
EN-97819
(Please quote in any future correspondence)

I write further to my email of 26 November 2010 regarding
your complaint about the Tax Office, which is part of HM Revenue and Customs
(HMRC) and the subsequent review by the Adjudicator’s Office.

In order to determine whether, or to what extent, we are
able to help you, we will need to review all of the papers related to your
complaint. Additionally, only an MP can make a complaint to us (on your behalf)
about government departments, agencies or organisations, and we cannot consider
your complaint until an MP has asked us to do so. You can contact your
constituency MP at the following address:

Mrs Louise Ellman

House
of Commons

London

SW1A
0AA

Telephone: 020 7219 5210

Fax: 020 7219 2592

Email: ellmanl@parliament.uk

To help Mrs Ellman understand your complaint, you should
give her the following information:

  • an explanation of what the
    problem is;

  • a brief history of what
    happened, and when, including responses to your complaint so far;

  • copies of the letters and
papers which are relevant to the complaint; and

  • details of what you want done
    to put things right.

Having looked at your complaint Mrs Ellman will let you know
the best way to deal with it. If she does ask us to investigate your case, we
will look carefully at all the information you have provided and send you,
and Mrs Ellman, a reply telling you what we are
going to do about it.

Until we have received this we are unable to
look into your complaint further.
If we have not heard from you by 28 February 2011 we will assume that
you do not wish to proceed with your complaint and will proceed to close your
case. Please note that this is purely
for statistical purposes. If we receive your papers from your MP after
this date we will generate a new reference number for your
complaint.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you need to
discuss any of the above.

Yours sincerely

Lyndsey Carpenter
