Hi,
thank you for your e-mail!
I've tried to re-compile the eggdrop, with a telnet-port within the range you mentioned.
But the eggdrop don't get on my channed, #blablabla.
Is this because of netsplit, can you recomend a server you think is going to work with a US botshell and my inter-net line is in the UK, (on EFnet. I use
efnet.port80.se or
irc.xs4all.nl, even if the last one have had problems lately I think).
Telnet should work no mather which server the bot is on, shouldn't it, I didn't get the Telnet-stuff to work even with a new port-number.
But I'll try again today.
Sorry if I'm sending many e-mails!
Best regards,
Erik Ribsskog

ATTN: Erik Ribsskog,
Support Ticket #210845 has been updated
Description:
Erik,
This will not be the case at all. The issue here is you've configured
your eggdrop's telnet port to a port that is above the allowed range
stated in our MOTD once you log into the server which is 1024-10000
you currently have it set to 54328 once you remedy this in the
configuration file, restart the bot and you should be good to go.
Please let us know if we can assist you any further with this
matter.
