Hi Mary,

I've look at this again :)

The way I interperet the Job Description now.

The owner wants a Web Designer, a System Administrator, a Sales-Person, a Hairdresser, a Personal Assistant and a Marketing-guy.

I think it's a bit degrading that I have to be a Personal Assistant for another owner, when I have a e-business myselves.

I think we should focus of my e-business, like you wrote the other day, that you could help me with.

Hope this is alright!

Yours sincerely,

Erik Ribsskog

Hi again Mary,

I've thought even more about this now.

(Since I'm a job-seeker, I think a bit about my situation, even in the weekends).

This job also asks me to do the custommer-support.

Then I think they go a bit to far.

They want me to be a webshop-designer and a hairdresser and a shop-runner really.

This is three different jobs in one, I think.

I haven't seen similar job-descriptions before.

I think one have to be like a hairdresser, or something, to answer phone-calls from custommers, regarding the hair-style-brand.

(Which I don't remember the name of now, and I couldn't find on the intenet with Google).

I could have made the web-shop and ran it.

But to answer phone-calls from custommers regarding a hair-style-brand that I think one should be like a hair-dresser, to give expert advice on.

(Since this web-shop only sells this hair-style-brand, and nothing else.

Then I think people expect to get expert-advice when they contact the web-shop about the product).

You said a lot of people had applied.

But how many have skills in Web Design, Shop Running and Hair Dressing?

Is this like a ladders job with more than £50.000 a year?

I think this job is really three jobs in one.

I can't say that I've seen similar job-descriptions before.

Is this someone pulling my leg, I'm wondering a bit here.

Is this serious or is this like the candid camera? :)

Sorry if I send to many e-mails, (I just has this on my mind now, since I'm unemployed, etc).

Best regards,

Erik Ribsskog

Hi again Mary,

now I've been thinking more about the job-interview, on Tuesday, in Baron House, in Newcastle.

I think that job is a bit strange now, so I've reconsidered about this.

You want me to build a webshop and then run it.

It's like asking someone to build a building and then run a shop in it, I think.

This is not a real job, I think.

Noone asks anyone to build a building and then run a shop in it.

They ask people to eighter build a building or run a shop.

I think that job is a bit strange, like a 'slave-job', or something.

So I wonder how serious that job is.

I haven't heard about the brand eighter.

So I think that job sounds a bit 'phoney', on second thought.

So after reconsidering it I don't think it's a good idea, to apply for a 'funny' job like that.

It seems unesesesary complicated, I think.

I'll give you back the £5 for the metro-ticket, that you gave me on Thursday this week, on our next apointment on Thursday next week.

Hope this is alright!

Yours sincerely,

Erik Ribsskog

Hi Mary,

I've also got some feed-back from my job-search earlier this week.

I've completed the test, which this employer wanted me to complete.

(Even if this is a bit outside of my Key Skills, but there aren't that many Web Design-jobs, so I also apply for other IT-jobs).

So it seems that the CV I have now also works.

The CV I have now was made by Reed in Liverpool, (by Richie there), by the way, last year, I think it was, and I've changed a bit on it.

Just as an update.

Best regards,

Erik Ribsskog
