Hei,

Hi Erik,

I've been looking forward to sharing this week's article. It's all about testing to ensure your information architecture (IA) is intuitive, easily navigable, and truly user-centric. Author, Alice Chen, shares two methods for developing your IA strategy: card sorting and tree testing.

Alice is a content strategist at TELUS and walks us through when to use card sorting or tree testing, how to set up card sorting and tree testing, and offers different testing options using these methods depending on your budget. There's also a case study from TELUS to show the application of these methods on a website redesign, with what went well, and what Alice would do differently next time. It's a great read:

It's back! We're running our free content governance masterclass again. It's presented by Padma Gillen who was previously Head of Content Design at the Government Digital Service.

Padma will coach attendees on what content governance is, why good content governance ensures your organisation's content works for your users, and how to put effective governance in place. Plenty of advice and examples whatever size your organisation is:

(Thursday, August 27, 4pm to 6pm UK time)

Related: we have a content governance checklist for you to work through to build a simple content governance model. Content governance model checklist →

As always, I hope these are all helpful.

Thanks,
Rob
