Hei,

Hi Erik,

There are usually lots of people involved with content at each stage of the process, including creation. People involved may have the knowledge you need, but perhaps don't have the time or skills to write what's needed. Pair writing can be an effective collaboration method for writing content together.

In our latest article, Lizzie Bruce offers a practical step-by-step guide to pair writing with subject matter experts, service designers, technical architects and content designers. Lizzie is excellent at explaining concepts clearly, so they can be actioned immediately, and there are also helpful examples and interesting stats to support the points too:

If you want to read more about collaboration techniques, we have a whole book on the subject. Collaborate is a book for anyone with an interest in collaboration techniques for digital teams. It includes checklists, tools, experiments and practical activities to try out with your collaborative groups or teams.

Happening this week, Rachel DeLauder from NewCity is presenting our webinar about translating brand messages into website content. Rachel will cover how to bridge the gap between brand copywriting and content strategy, steps to take in the editorial and creative process, and how to use tone, voice, literary devices, and images to express brand concepts.

Here's to a week of successful collaboration 🙂

Rob
