Hi,

in my last email I wrote that I wanted a reply from the Managing Director about this.

I can't see that this has happened.

This I have to complain about.

Please escalate this now.

(I want to know the name of the internet-troll who has ordered/written this in my name.

And I want to know how you plan to improve to avoid that something similar happens again).

Hi Erik,

I understand, but we just don't have any additional information we can provide to you about this request. Someone entered your email address on our contact form here: https://www.crossref.org/contact/ on 2020 October 27 at 21:32 UTC. The request included inappropriate content and linked to what appeared to our team as adult-themed websites. Normally our spam filter would have flagged this request and suppressed it so that our employees would not have had to review it. Our spam filters failed that day and instead spammed you back. We have since fixed that.

Unfortunately, that's the extent of what I can provide you. We had an open form on a public website with a faltering spam filter (on 2020 October 27). The person who completed the form left behind no identifying information that we can trace.

I wish I had a more satisfying answer,
Isaac

This is a follow-up to your previous request #350270 "Re: [Crossref] Re: Klage/Fw..."

Hi,

this isn't just a one off.

This is part of a big attack, someone order lots of junk in my name, (on the internet), from companies with poor routines.

And I have to use a lot of time, to try to clean up, after these idiots.

(And the courts here in Norway, sometimes refuse to understand that the junk has been ordered by the trolls, so I get sentences, from very low courts, (Forliksrådet), in Norway, due to this.

And I get a low credit-score due to this.

Etc., etc.).

So I'm trying to find out who these idiots/trolls are.

And I've also gone to mercantile education, at upper secondary level, here in Norway, and we were thought to ask 'problem-companies' how they intended to fix the problems in mention.

I'm not sure if technical support is the right departement for this case.

If you could please escalate to someone within operations/higher management.
