Hi,

my cousin Joakim (Ribsskog) Savoldelli died in the 1990's.

He was mongoloid (Downs syndrom).

And he never learned to talk.

But he was one of the first people that I remember (from around 1973).

So I wondered why he died.

Did he die from heart-problems.

Or did he die in an accident?

His mother (my aunt) Ellen Ribsskog is dead now.

She moved from Norway to Switzerland in the 1970's.

And my younger sister Pia and I visited her, in Aesch (outside Basel)
in the summer of 1987.

Then Ellen was divorced from her Swizz-Italian husband Reto Savoldelli.

And that was the last time I saw Joakim (the summer of 1987).

He still hadn't learned how to speak.

So I guess he never learned how to talk.

But I wonder where he is burried.

Or is he still alive in some hospital?

His younger sister Rahel doesn't want to explain.

(Ellen didn't teach Rahel to speak much Norwegian.

They spoke German at home.

So I haven't talked much with Rahel eighter).

They had a guy named Dieter (from Africa, who had been a 'beach-bum')
living with them, in Aesch (in Industri-Strasse).

I wonder it you can reply about this.

And I also wonder if Reto was Joakims father.

Or if Reto only was Rahels father.

(Because I have geneaology as a hobby).

Thanks in advance for any help!

Best regards,

Erik Ribsskog
