Hi,
ok it was a test to determine if I needed to enrol on a language-modul.
And I got the best grade, on this English-test.
So I try to get hold of a file, that shows this, for my CV, since I had problems with my Home University, and the Study-loan bank in Norway, 'Lånekassa'.
And I spoke with the study-abroad manager, I think she was, about this, in 2004, a woman in her 20's I think, with blond hair, (I don't remember the name), and then I was allowed to call my home university, Oslo University College, from the Study Abroad office, in Sunderland, (when it was at St. Peters campus).
That I thought was very fine, because then Frode Eika Sandnes, at Oslo Univesity College, didn't dear to 'mess' with my module-aprovment any longer, so then he came over to Sunderland, to speak with me, and another student, named Brusk, from Syria and Norway and Oslo University College.
(Or else I don't think I would have got my study-loan, at all).
But I didn't get my study-loan, before I had been in Sunderland, for four months.
So the whole first term, passed, and I didn't get the study-loan, before in January 2005.
And then we were also 'thrown out', from the appartment in the Forge, so then I went to London, to find a job, since the problems with Lånekassa and Oslo University College, unfortunatly had messed up my studies, in Sunderland, since I had to focus on getting the founding from Norway, in stead of my studies, since one have to have money for food, etc.
So I didn't get to finish any modules, in Sunderland.
So I thought if I had a file, with the result of the language-test, which I got the best grade on, then that would have been very fine.
Because, how are people expected to explain, that they didn't take a language-module, even if they were on the Study Abroad-programme?
I think students should be given a file, with the result of the initial language-test, to document, why they didn't need to take the English-module.
Or is there anyway you could help me with this, by writing a statement, that I had so good English-skills, so I didn't need to take the English-module, while I studied in Sunderland, because I think that would have been fine to have on my CV.
Is Peter White working at the university any longer, by the way, because I also have some files, that were arcived to do with my Final Year Project, 2004/05, that I thought it would have been fine to have, since then I have some files to show at least, from my studies in Sunderland.
I'm aware of that I owe the university money, for the rent from the Forge etc., but I have brought this up, with the right department, at the department, at the University, I have applied for a payment-plan, etc., so I hope this is not the reason, why I can't have these files, because Liz at the language-center, mentioned this, when I asked for the file, that I owed the university money.
But I don't think the language-center deals with this, student fees, so I'm a bit worried that Liz and others could have an agenda, that they don't like me since I owe the university money.
And I don't think this is right, that people like Liz, should punish me, due to this, since she has no right to judge me, and I deal with this problem, with the right department at the university.
I hope you have the chance to find out about this!
Yours sincerely,
Erik Ribsskog

Dear Erik,
Can you please clarify the details of the
test which you sat?
If you were enrolled on a University
module we would normally store the results. If however you sat a diagnostic
test to determine if you needed to enrol on a language module then we would not
store the results as this will have been an informal diagnostic test which does
not carry any University credits.

Hi,
Would you please help Erik?
Thanks
Mahshid
Hi,
Liz from the language-center tells me that the University has burned
test-results, for English-tests for Study Abroad-students, from 2004.
I think this sounds strange, and I think must be a lie.
Because I think the Univesity keep test-results for statistical
reasons, at least.
So I want you to please investigate this.
