Hi Erik,
The NVQ in customer service is a vocational programme that has assessment in the work place involved and the awarding bodies insist on this. There are Customer Service courses, which are different altogether, they are bite size courses which are online. Depending on your eligibility they may of no cost.

Subject: Courses in Customer Service or Business and Administration
Hi,
I was at Learn Direct, in Liverpool Central Library today, and spoke with Veronica.
I was told that one had to have a job, to take the courses in Customer Service or Business and Administration, level 2.
But, on the leaflet, that was on the Jobcentre, it says that these are courses to help you improve your job prospects.
I don't get this to add up.
Surely it isn't right that I have to have a job to get to take these courses?
Thanks in advance for any reply!
Yours sincerely,
Erik Ribsskog
