Although I appreciate your comments that the letter you have received dated the 09 September 2010 suggests that you have not contacted us previously to set up a payment arrangement; I can see that you have been advised on numerous occasions that we will not accept your offer of £5.00 a month. You will therefore continue to receive these letters until such a time that your account has been passed to a third party collection agency. You will then be able to negotiate with the agency and set up a payment arrangement with them. We can not accept your offer of £5.00 a month as it would take a number of years to pay the balance of £530.12. We have offered to spread the balance over 12 months which is above our usual three months we allow to pay back a final account balance and until your account is passed to a collection agency this offer still stands. Please be advised that we will not enter in to any more correspondence regarding this issue. To reiterate; we will not accept your offer of £5.00 a month, follow up letters about the balance will continue until such time the balance has been passed to an external collection agency and we will only accept a payment arrangement over a maximum of 12 months as long as this is set up before the account has been passed to an external collection agency.
