Hi,
yes, I haven't sent an IPCC-complaint, because I thought perhaps the lawyer could do that.
Because I haven't had much luck, with my IPCC-complains, earlier.
They just seem to disappear, for some reason.
I think it's a bit strange that your organisation isn't interested, in this case.
Perhaps you could send about this to your line-manager?
(You don't sign with 'sincerely', over you name, so I would have wanted a second opinion, if that's ok).
Thanks for the e-mail anyway.
Regards,
Erik Ribsskog

Dear Mr Ribsskog
Thank you for your email of 7 January 2013. I am sorry for the delay in responding, which is due to our limited resources.
I am sorry to hear of your situation. Unfortunately, this is not something that Liberty is able to advise on. By way of background, Liberty is a
small civil liberties organisation whose principal role is in campaigning to defend and extend civil liberties. We generally only take on specific test cases designed to force changes in the law, usually by mounting a challenge under European human rightslaw or the Human Rights Act 1998. We do not have the resources to provide a general casework service and for this reason we cannot assist you in this matter.
I can only suggest that you seek the advice of a solicitor specialising in this area of law. I assume that you have criminal representation, and
you should speak to your lawyer about this first. You might also want to obtain advice from a specialist in actions against the police, but it may be that it would be better to wait for your current proceedings to resolve first. Again, speak to your existinglayers about this first.
If you would like to change solicitors then you can find details of solicitors by contacting the Community Legal Advice on 0845 345 4345 or visiting

I am sorry that we have not been able to help. I wish you all the best and thank you for contacting Liberty.
