Hi,
you can't use the data protection-laws to protect the criminals in an identity theft-case.
That's moronic, I'd say.
No way you have such a system, I wouldn't have pressed a link like that, even if I had been drunk, (like I've mentioned earlier).
That's bullshit, I'd say.
Perhaps the other founder should have a look at this.
I want to know the name of the troll who has ordered this in my name.
And I want to be informed about which better routines, that your organisation is going to start with, so that this problem doesn't happen again, to other people/citizens.

Dear Erik Ribsskog
I am the superior, this is my company.
Sorry to hear that you think it’s an insult to receive our news or content, there’s nothing I can do about that.
Unfortunately due to data protection laws, we can not give you the IP address of the person / people who added your details to the site. In fact, we don’t actually hold that information after emails have been deleted, or unsubscribed - as I mentioned in the previous email.
As I mentioned earlier this was a double opt in system. It’s a pretty standard policy which means that we wouldn’t have sent you any of our actual emails or content without your express confirmation (that’s the verification link). That’s our “routine” to stop those who don’t want our content getting it sent to them.
As before, your email address has been deleted and unless you write to us again, no one from our company will write to you again.
Yours faithfully.

I want you to escalate this to a superior.

PS.
I also think that it's a bit clammy, that you use my first-name like that in the salutation.
What's wrong with just 'hi'?

Dear Erik
I can confirm that your details have been deleted from the system. Unfortunately sometimes people are added by third parties to our email system, who want to "play a joke" on someone by adding them to a gay site. But unless you signed up, you wouldn't have received any email
Hope this makes sense, I've used Bing's translate feature!
