A great ad converts better if it points to a great website
AdWords Site Guidelines can help you optimize your landing page, which can improve your ad’s quality score and decrease your cost-per-click (CPC). What makes a great landing page?
- Fresh content: Point your ad to a page dedicated to that ad, or at least to a highly-relevant page.
- Transparency & trust: Your landing page should clearly indicate the nature of your business, how your site interacts with the user’s computer, and how you intend to use the user’s information.
- Navigability:Make user conversion as simple as possible. This means minimizing clicks required to convert, avoiding distracting pop-ups, and optimizing your site for speed.
