Hi,
even if the e-mails appear to be from my e-mail account.
This is the nature of spoofing.
This doesn't mean that my e-mail account has been hacked.
And it isn't my responsibility when other people do crime like spoofing.
This is between you and the spoofers, I think.
This should be the Police's job to stop, I think.
If I, (as a normal person), contact internet-providers, then they aren't going to tell me the names of the people who have sent you spoofing-emails.
But the Police or IT-departments would have been given these names, I think.
So it seems to me, that there is a lot of confusion about what spoofing is, in your organisation.
But I understand that this isn't a fun situation.
But from there to that it's my responsibility when other people spoof me.
I don't buy that.
I think it's LHT that needs to perhaps learn more about this, and not me.
If I can be so frank as to dear to say that.
Hope this resolves it now, and thanks again for the key to the gate.
Have a good week!
Best regards,
Best regards,
Erik Ribsskog

Thank you for your email of 27 January to our Customer Service Centre asking for your enquiry to be looked at by the Managing Director.
I am sorry that your email account appears to be the subject of spoofing and for this reason, I have for a short period asked our ICT team to quarantine all emails received from you and bring to my attention. This will allow me to see what
is being said.
Unfortunately, e-mails containing inappropriate comments do appear to be coming from your account to our office. From what you say, you are not the person making these comments and I am therefore confident that you want these to stop.
However, it does appear that the e-mails are coming from your email address and it is your responsibility to stop this occurring not LHT’s. It may be helpful for you to seek advice on how to prevent third parties gaining access to your
account if this is happening and you might want to raise this with your service provider.
Many thanks for your help in this matter and I am pleased that the gate issue is now resolved.
Kind regards
Andy
