Introducing Newsstand's Magazine Concierge! Find and be notified about interesting articles on people, places and topics that really interest you.
We've added some exciting (for us at least) functionality to Newsstand and we're keen to let you know about it. You can now search for magazine contents on the site as well as sign up for auto alerts on your favourite people, places, bands and topics.
Each magazine that arrives with us from around the world is now tagged with the main subjects or people as featured. These will be searchable in the normal search bar at the top of the website and are shown as "Featured in".
Additionally and probably of more interest, is the ability to visit our new Magazine Concierge page. Here you can see all new and old magazines featuring any topic of your choice, as well as sign up for an email alert for when any magazine featuring "Metallica", "Nintendo" or even "Prince William". We've also added a word cloud to illustrate the hot topics of the moment being written about by thousands of publications.
This service is going to develop over time - it's not perfect, and relies on exact matches to trigger search results and email notifications so keep your searches to one or two words only - but we think it is a great way to find interesting articles on things that interest you.
