We’ve got 42 days until the Georgia runoff election on January 5th.
Black Lives Matter PAC is working hard to bring as many folks to the polls in this special election as possible. Notoriously, special elections have been low turnout affairs which greatly benefit the Republicans as their old White base reliably turn out.
That’s why we are not just getting ads on the air, but we’re also planning some massive (COVID-safe) Get Out The Vote events. We need to make sure we set up as many volunteers as possible with the resources they need to reach voters.
In order to fund our ad and volunteer programs to elect Jon Ossoff and Reverend Warnock to the Senate, we’re going to need to raise $500,000 in just a few short weeks. Chip in whatever you can now to fuel our efforts.

For the past 4 years, we’ve seen Mitch McConnell block bill after bill in the Senate. Disturbingly, he’s refused to pass another stimulus for the millions of folks across the country grappling with the pandemic. Because COVID-19 has impacted Black and brown communities more than any other, McConnell’s relentless blocking of another stimulus is hitting our most vulnerable communities harder than ever before.
If Jon Ossoff and Reverend Warnock are elected to the Senate, Mitch McConnell won’t have the power to keep manipulating the people. His days of blocking meaningful legislation can be over if we raise enough money to help fund our efforts to ensure that Jon Ossoff and Reverend Warnock win these Senate races.
And, since Black people delivered victory to the presidential election, we can do it for the Senate, too. But we need the resources to do so.
Absentee ballots are already being sent to voters. We’ve got no time to waste. Rush a donation of $5 or whatever you can.
