Hei,

Joseph E. Stiglitz

The Nobel Prize economist (2001) Joseph E. Stiglitz says: "the reason that the invisible hand often seems invisible is that it is often not there." (Making Globalization Work, 2006) [1]. Stiglitz explains his position:

http://plus.maths.org/issue14/features/smith/

Også seinere så sa dem noe sånt som: 'Hopefully she'll soon be back _here_ to make more concerts'.

Olaf Thomessen ,prektigheten himself svindlet morens minnefond!

Her står det blant annet:

http://johncons-mirror.blogspot.com

Illuminati is a name that refers to several groups, both real and fictitious. Historically, it refers specifically to the Bavarian Illuminati, an Enlightenment era secret society founded in the late eighteenth century. However, in modern times it refers to a purported conspiratorial organization which acts as a shadowy hand behind the throne, allegedly controlling world affairs through present day governments and corporations, usually as a modern incarnation or continuation of the Bavarian Illuminati. In this context, Illuminati is often used in reference to a New World Order (NWO). Many conspiracy theorists believe the Illuminati, The People of The Light, or illuminated ones, are the masterminds behind events that will lead to the establishment of such a New World Order.

In rarer cases, the Illuminati refers to an elite set of enlightened individuals who may not cooperate but are uniquely empowered by their enlightenment, much like the intelligentsia classes of today are empowered by their education and intelligence. These are people who have become illuminated and have achieved a higher mystical understanding of the universe. Many secret societies and mystical traditions are concerned with this kind of illumination or enlightenment, such as the Rosicrucian Societies, the Martinists and the original Bavarian Illuminati.[1]

[edit] The Bavarian Illuminati

[edit] History

Adam WeishauptThis movement was founded on May 1, 1776, in Ingolstadt (Upper Bavaria), by Jesuit-taught Adam Weishaupt (d. 1830)[citation needed], who was the first lay professor of canon law at the University of Ingolstadt.[citation needed] The movement was made up of freethinkers, as an offshoot of the Enlightenment[2], which some believe was a conspiracy to infiltrate and overthrow the governments of many European states[3]. The group's adherents were given the name Illuminati, although they called themselves "Perfectibilists". The group has also been called the Illuminati Order, and the Bavarian Illuminati, and the movement itself has been referred to as Illuminism. In 1777, Karl Theodor, Elector Palatine, succeeded as ruler of Bavaria. He was a proponent of Enlightened Despotism and in 1784, his government banned all secret societies, including the Illuminati.

While it was not legally allowed to operate, many influential intellectuals and progressive politicians counted themselves as members, including Ferdinand of Brunswick and the diplomat Xavier von Zwack.[4] Although a few Freemasons were known[citation needed] to be members there is no evidence that it was supported by Freemasonry as an institution. Indeed, membership in the Illuminati, unlike that in Freemasonry, did not require belief in a Supreme Being.[citation needed] As a result, atheists having only the former organization open to them, congregated disproportionately in it; this over-representation, taken along with the Illuminati's largely humanist and anti-clerical bent, likely accounts for many of the claims of atheism leveled at the alleged world conspiracy of which the Illuminati supposedly remain a part.[citation needed]

The Illuminati's members pledged obedience to their superiors, and were divided into three main classes: the first, known as the Nursery, encompassed the ascending degrees or offices of Preparation, Novice, Minerval and Illuminatus Minor. The second, known as the Masonry, consists of the ascending degrees of Illuminatus Major and Illuminatus dirigens. It was also sometimes called Scotch Knight. The third, designated the Mysteries, was subdivided into the degrees of the Lesser Mysteries (Presbyter and Regent) and those of the Greater Mysteries (Magus and Rex). Relations with Masonic lodges were established at Munich and Freising in 1780 by Alexander Gibson and Joseph Vincent respectively.[citation needed]

The order had its branches in most countries of the European continent;[citation needed] it reportedly had around 2,000 members over the span of 10 years.[citation needed] The scheme had its attraction for literary men, such as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Johann Gottfried Herder, and even for the reigning dukes of Gotha and Weimar. Internal rupture and panic over succession preceded its downfall, which was effected by The Secular Edict made by the Bavarian government in 1785.[citation needed]

[edit] Illuminati after 1790
Conspiracy theorists such as David Icke and Wes Penre, have argued that the Bavarian Illuminati survived, possibly to this day, though very little reliable evidence can be found to support that Weishaupt's group survived into the 19th century. However, several groups have used the name Illuminati since to found their own rites, claiming to be the Illuminati, including the Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO) of Theodor Reuss and Aleister Crowley (England),[5] Grand Lodge Rockefeller of David Goldman (USA), Orden Illuminati[6] of Gabriel López de Rojas (Spain), The Illuminati Order[7] and others.

[edit] Cultural effect
The Bavarian Illuminati have cast a long shadow in popular history thanks to the writings of their opponents; the allegations of conspiracy that have coloured the image of the Freemasons have practically opaqued that of the Illuminati. In 1797, Abbé Augustin Barruél published Memoirs Illustrating the History of Jacobinism outlining a vivid conspiracy theory involving the Knights Templar, the Rosicrucians, the Jacobins and the Illuminati, during the course of which Barruél blamed all of what he regarded as the disasters of his times such as the French Revolution on the said groups.[citation needed] A Scottish Mason and professor of natural history named John Robison started to publish Proofs of a Conspiracy Against all the Religions and Governments of Europe in 1798. Robison claimed to present evidence of an Illuminati conspiracy striving to replace all world religions with humanism and all nations with a single world government.[citation needed]

More recently, Antony C. Sutton suggested that the secret society Skull and Bones was founded as the American branch of the Illuminati.[8] Others think Scroll and Key also had Illuminati origins.[citation needed] Writer Robert Gillette claimed that the Illuminati ultimately intend to establish a world government through assassination, bribery, blackmail, the control of banks and other financial powers, the infiltration of governments, mind control, and by causing wars and revolution to move their own people into higher positions in the political hierarchy.[citation needed]Thomas Jefferson, on the other hand, claimed they intended to spread information and the principles of true morality. He attributed the secrecy of the Illuminati to what he called "the tyranny of a despot and priests" referring to the governments and religious beliefs of the time.[citation needed]

Both sides seem to agree that the enemies of the Illuminati were the monarchs of Europe and the Church; Barruél claimed that the French revolution in 1789 was engineered and controlled by the Illuminati through the Jacobins, and later theorists even claimed that the Illuminati were responsible for the Russian Revolution of 1917, although the order was officially defunct prior to 1789.[citation needed] Few historians give credence to these views; they regard such claims as the products of over-fertile imaginations.[citation needed]Conspiracy theorists highlight an alleged link between the Illuminati and Freemasonry.[citation needed] They also suggest that the United States' founding fathers—some of whom were Freemasons—were rife with corruption from the Illuminati, and that the symbols of the All-seeing Eye and the unfinished pyramid in the Great Seal of the United States are an example of the Illuminati's ever-present watchful eye over Americans.[citation needed]

While Weishaupt's group did not survive into the 19th century, several groups have since used the name Illuminati to found their own rites, claiming to be the Illuminati. Groups describing themselves as Illuminati say they have members and chapters throughout the world.[citation needed]

According to Principia Discordia, the Bavarian Illuminati were revived or rediscovered in the 20th century under the leadership of Mordecai Malignatus.[citation needed]

The British writer David Icke also claims that the Illuminati secretly manipulate world events, citing bloodline connections between the British Royal Family, the Windsors and Mountbattens, and United States Presidents and, he says, a connection to the Illuminati.[citation needed]

The idea of a secret brotherhood known as the Illuminati is currently deep-rooted in popular culture. The Illuminati were for example used in the fiction novel by Dan Brown called Angels & Demons. According to Brown the Illuminati was founded by scientists, amongst others Galileo Galilei, who had become infuriated with the refusal of the Catholic Church to accept their work, merely condemning their research as heresy. Interestingly enough, the poet John Milton is also included by Brown.

Subject: Re: Regarding help from Amnesty

Hi,

thank you very much for your answer, and the link!

The 'sivilombudsmannen' in Norway, is the person who helps the unions and
the employer organisations,
if there are difficulties in settling the yearly salary-agreements in
Norway, beetwen the employee and the
employer organisations.

Like if they aren't agreeing about how high the minimum-wage should be, and
things similar to that.

But thanks very much anyway.

You write, that you can't help me with my situation.

Well, since the last e-mail, I've aknowlegded more information about the
situation, and the new situation,
is that I seem to be followed by the
Illuminati
.

Even if I haven't heard that much about them before recently.

But even if it's so, I'd also like to mention, that I've also got some
documentation, which seems to support
this, the latest knowledge I've accuired surrounding the situation.

So I'm not sure if you think that this in any way would change your answer
regarding if you think you have
any possibilities to give advice regarding this problem?

I'm just sending this e-mail just in case, I know that I have sent you
several e-mails earlier, so due to this,
I would understand it, if you have don't have the time to answer me, so if
you can't help, then you could just
skip the writing of an answering e-mail if you like.

Because I know that I have sent you many e-mails from before, and I
understand it isn't that fun to have to
answer many e-mails from one person, when one have many other important
work-tasks.

So this I understand completely.

I'm just sending this e-mail just in case the new information, changes
anything regarding the way my situation
should be viewed in regards to your mandate.

But please feel free to not answer, due to the number of e-mails I've been
sending you, I understand it if your
patience with me is running out, so that's no problem at all.

So thanks again for the answer I'm replying to now.

And thank you very much in advance for any help!

And sorry again about the frequent communication!

Yours sincerely,

Erik Ribsskog

"One World Government" redirects here. For the general concept of global political governance, see World government.
This article describes an alleged conspiracy. For a dramatic change in world political thought and the balance of power, see New world order. For other uses, see New World Order.

New World Order (Novus Ordo Mundi or Novus Ordo Seclorum) refers to a conspiracy in which a powerful and secretive group is to be conspiring to eventually rule the world via an autonomous world government, which would replace sovereign states and other checks and balances in world power struggles. In the new world order, many significant occurrences are caused by a powerful secret group. Historical and current events are seen as steps in an on-going plot to rule the world primarily through a combination of political finance, social engineering, mind control[citation needed], and fear-based propaganda, in addition to alleged mass genocides of Christian sects[citation needed]. One of its early mentions was in the 1975 Gerald Ford's "Declaration of Interdependence" as recorded by historian Henry Steele Commager which states that: "we must join with others to bring forth a new world order....Narrow notions of national sovereignty must not be permitted to curtail that obligation".

[edit] History of the term

New world order is an integrative that attempts to expose and explain the widespread collusion between business and political leaders and their agenda towards the restriction of personal freedoms.

Many believe the idea of the "new world order" originated in the early 1900s with Cecil Rhodes, who advocated that the British Empire and the United States should jointly impose a Federal World Government (with English as the official language) to bring about lasting world "peace". In order to facilitate this, Rhodes founded the Rhodes Scholarship as a global brotherhood of future leaders. Lionel Curtis, who also believed in this idea, founded the Rhodes-Milner Round Table Groups in 1909, which led to the establishment of the British-based Royal Institute for International Affairs in 1919 and the U.S.-based Council on Foreign Relations in 1920.[citation needed] The concept was further developed by Edward M. House, a close advisor to Woodrow Wilson during the negotiations to set up the League of Nations (it is unclear whether it was House or Wilson who invented the actual phrase). Another important influence was the futurist H.G. Wells, a vigorous advocate for world government.

Elements are present in the populism of the nineteenth century. In present form this can be traced to the collapse of the Soviet Union and President George H. W. Bush's new world order speech of 11 September 1990. In it he described the United States' objectives for post-cold-war cooperation with the former Soviet Union, using the phrase "new world order."[1]

[edit] Signs

According to theorists there are many signs that will confirm these claims. For example, the strange murals in the Denver International Airport, the Illuminati symbol on the Great Seal of the United States with the words "Novus Ordo Seclorum" meaning "New Order of the Ages", Masonic signs on buildings (particularly in Washington DC) and pentagrams worked into city plans.

A DVD entitled "Riddles In Stone" investigates the peculiarities in Washington, D.C.'s streets and buildings.
Reverse side of the Great Seal of the United States
Reverse side of the Great Seal of the United States

The belief may stem — at least partly — from the political phrase "New World Order", which was used in politics for much of the 20th century.

Other names for the New World Order are Illuminati Bankers, High Cabal, Fourth Reich, Synarchist International, the Cryptocracy, the power elite, and the powers that be.

Supporters of this theory can say to a certain degree who is part of it. Nobody can determine who isn't part of the NWO. Most prominent families such as the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Morgans, and Du Ponts, as well as European monarchs, are said to be important members.

International organizations such as the World Bank, IMF, European Union, the United Nations, and NATO are often listed as core NWO organizations. Presidents and prime ministers of nations are routinely included in the conspiracy. A slightly different version of the NWO theory goes as far as saying that these families and persons are all part of the same bloodline.

It is believed that there are to be numerous internment camps located within the United States and that these internment camps will start being seen as signs before any action is taken. These camps are to be used to store any Americans who protest or give any sort of fight against the Secret Service Guard that is to be used to control the population and new laws.

[edit] New World Order timeline

These are events that some conspiracy theorists say are pivotal in the establishment of the New World Order. [1]

* In 1903 the The Protocols of the Elders of Zion were published in Russia. Scholars generally agree that the Okhrana, the secret police of the Russian Empire, fabricated the text in the late 1890s or early 1900s.[2]

* In 1913 the U.S. Federal Reserve system and the Internal Revenue Service were introduced. Owners of the "Fed" are said to be rich international bankers loaning money to the U.S. government at interest. They have the power to print money and control it without using the Gold Standard.

* In the July 17, 1926 Saturday Evening Post, the term "New World Order" was used for the first time in a popular magazine article to describe the work of Edward M. House in helping to create the League of Nations and helping to found the Council on Foreign Relations.[3] [2]

* Between 1928 and 1940, H. G. Wells wrote of his hopes for "an efficient and beneficent world system" under one world-government.

* In 1933, when Hitler came to power, he announced the coming of a, "New World Order" under Nazi rule, a Nazi New World Order - Nazi One World Government

* In 1935, the reverse side of the Great Seal of the United States with the Eye of Providence above the pyramid appeared for the first time on the back of the one dollar U.S. dollar bill.

* In 1938, Lionel Curtis's The Commonwealth of God was published, advocating joint rule of the world by the USA and the UK.

* From 1940 until her death in 1949, Alice Bailey published various books in which she called Zionism a "triangle of terror" and called for a New World Order in which Orthodox Judaism no longer existed.

* The term "One World" originated in the 1943 book One World by liberal Republican Wendell Willkie. In the book Willkie described his 31,000 mile journey around the world from August 26 to October 14, 1942 in the Consolidated bomber "Gulliver" to meet with Allied war leaders.[4]

* In 1944, the Bretton Woods Agreement was signed, outlining a regime for the post World War II world economy.

* In 1945, the United Nations is founded.

* In 1946, Bertrand Russell supported the Baruch Plan for establishment of a world government based on international control of atomic weapons, and advocated that the United States and the United Kingdom should use their atomic monopoly to compel the assent of the Soviet Union if necessary for the sake of achieving permanent world peace. On October 1, 1946, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists carried an article by Bertrand Russell entitled The Atomic Bomb and the Prevention of War, where he writes, "The American and British governments ... should make it clear that genuine international cooperation is what they most desire. But although peace should be their goal, they should not let it appear that they are for peace at any price. At a certain stage, when their plan (sic) for an international government are ripe, they should offer them to the world ... If Russia acquiesced willingly, all would be well. If not, it would be necessary to bring pressure to bear, even to the extent of risking war". [3]

* In 1954, the Bilderberg Group was founded.

* On March 25, 1957 the European Economic Community (European Common Market) was formed, which in 1992 changed its name to the European Union. Currently, the EU has 27 member states, 13 of which use a common currency, the Euro.

* In 1961, Arnold Toynbee said: "in the present Atomic Age we shall not have assured the survival of the human race until we have established a world-government and made the present national governments subordinate to it".[5]

* In 1963, the Codex Alimentarius Commission was established by the Food and Agriculture Organization and the World Health Organization, later to be backed by the World Trade Organization.

* In 1973, David Rockefeller organized the Trilateral Commission.

* In 1974, retail stores began using the Universal Product Code. Some regard the UPC as being the Mark of the Beast. [4]

* On September 11, 1990, the President of the United States, George H.W. Bush gave his famous speech, "Toward a New World Order"[5][6] to a joint session of the United States Congress.

* In 1991, televangelist Pat Robertson published the book 'The New World Order'.

Pat Robertson's 1991 book 'The New World Order'
Pat Robertson's 1991 book 'The New World Order'

* On January 1, 1995, the United Nations' International Trade Organization's (ITO) General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) group renamed itself the World Trade Organization (WTO).[7]

* The WTO Ministerial Conference of 1999 protest activity took place on November 30, 1999, when the World Trade Organization (WTO) convened in Seattle, Washington, USA.

* When the September 11, 2001 attacks]] have been linked to ideas about the New World Order, they have sometimes been presented as a conspiratorial media-orchestrated plot to frighten Americans into giving up their basic liberties to a "Homeland Security" authority that will eventually turn control of the United States over to a multi-national "coalition government."

* In 2002, the FDA approved the manufacture of the VeriChip Microchip implant (human). Much more intrusive than the UPC, this aroused people's fears that a future totalitarian government could enforce the implanting of these chips and thus fulfill the Book of Revelation prophecy regarding the Mark of the Beast. [8] [9]

* In 2005, transhumanist futurist philosopher and computer scientist Ray Kurzweil reported that "The U.S. Joint Forces Command "Project Alpha"...envisions a 2025 fighting force that 'is largely robotic.' "[6].

[edit] Ideologies

There are a number of different ideologies related to this belief:[7]

[edit] H. G. Wells and the benevolent "New World Order"

H.G. Wells said in his 1940 book entitled "The New World Order": "... when the struggle seems to be drifting definitely towards a world social democracy, there may still be very great delays and disappointments before it becomes an efficient and beneficent world system. Countless people ... will hate the new world order ... and will die protesting against it. When we attempt to evaluate its promise, we have to bear in mind the distress of a generation or so of malcontents, many of them quite gallant and graceful-looking people." [10]H.G. Wells called his effort to organize prominent intellectuals behind the idea of establishing a World Government "The Open Conspiracy" (a benevolent one) in his 1928 book by that name. [11]

[edit] Lionel Curtis and the "Commonwealth of God"

Lionel Curtis wrote a book in 1938 called The Commonwealth of God in which he advocated that the United States and the British Empire should jointly impose a world government which would be presented as being the work of God: "I feel that when once the Protestant churches had learned to regard the creation of a world commonwealth as an all-important aspect of their work in realising the Kingdom of God, an international commonwealth in the English-speaking world would come into being in a few generations".[8] [12]

[edit] Alice Bailey's "New World Order" and its opposition to Judaism

Alice A. Bailey, a one time Theosophist who formed her own group, the Arcane School, in 1923, predicted in 1940 the victory of the Allies over the Axis and the establishment afterward by the Allies of a "New World Order" — regarded by her (as by H.G. Wells) — as a benevolent conspiracy by political progressives that would bring humanity to a higher level of civilization.[9] However, in 1997, Rabbi Yonassan Gershom, in an article titled "Antisemitic Stereotypes in Alice Bailey's Writings", pointed out that Bailey's "Plan for the New World Order" called for "the gradual dissolution - again if in any way possible - of the Orthodox Jewish faith", which, he said, indicated that "her goal is nothing less than the destruction of Judaism itself."[10]

[edit] Anti-Zionism ideologies: State of Israel as the enemy

Some believe that Zionists (or, alternatively, Israel and its Lobby in US) are the primary force behind the conspiracy. They assert the establishment of the New World Order is being engineered by Neo-Conservatives to provide support for Israel and they point out that many Neo-Conservative leaders are hawkish Zionists and some of them have worked as advisors to the government of Israel. Claims have been made that the primary reason that the Iraq War was fought is that the Zionists thought that Saddam Hussein was a threat to Israel that needed to be removed.[citation needed] Some claim that it is difficult for people to find out the truth about the conspiracy because, mass media outlets are predominantly owned by a few corporate executives who have the same goal[13]. Allegedly these individuals in control of mass media are all Zionists or supporters of them[citation needed]: Jonathan Miller (Chair/CEO) of AOL in Time Warner; Michel Eisener (CEO) of The Walt Disney Company; Reinhard Mohn [owner] of Bertelsmann media worldwide; Murray Rothstien (Head) of MTV in Viacom; Rupert Murdoch (Founder) of News Corporation; Jean-Bernard Lévy (Chairman/CEO) of Vivendi Universal. When accused of racism or antisemitism, some of those theorists argue that Zionism is racist and hateful ideologies of ethnic supremacy. They argue that this is evident from the persecution and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians who Zionist extremists typically regard as inferior and whose land they occupy under military force.

Zionists in US, i.e. "Prominent groups in the Israeli lobby include the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL); Christians United for Israel (CUFI), and pro-Israel think tanks like the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and the American Enterprise Institute. Leading individuals in the lobby include the heads of these various organizations, as well as neoconservatives who served in the Bush administration like Elliot Abrams, John Bolton, Douglas Feith, Paul Wolfowitz, and David Wurmser."[14] Also includes "John Hagee" and "Tom DeLay".

Part of the problem with Zionism and the New World Order is what the first Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion said in 1962. “The image of the world...as traced in my imagination -- the increasing influence of the farmers and workers, and the rising political influence of men of science, may transform the United States into a welfare state with a planned economy. Western and Eastern Europe will become a federation of autonomous states having a socialist and democratic regime.…With the exception of the USSR as a federated Eurasian state, all other continents will become united in a world alliance, at whose disposal will be an international police force. All armies will be abolished, and there will be no more wars. In Jerusalem, the United Nations (a truly United Nations) will build a Shrine of the Prophets to serve the federated union of all continents; this will be the seat of the Supreme Court of Mankind, to settle all controversies among the federated continents, as prophesied by Isaiah.”

[edit] Racist ideologies: race-mixing as the enemy's goal

Some racially biased subscribers to the Zionism theory have also asserted that part of the goal of the New World Order is to foster egalitarianism and enforce "race-mixing" or the integration of inherently inequal* races to engender miscegenation and submerge the genetically greater intellects of some races into the genetically lesser intellects of others, in order to breed a one-world race. This is a popular ideology among theorists who subscribe to a racist belief system.

[edit] Lyndon Larouche and the House of Windsor theory

The perennial U.S. presidential candidate Lyndon LaRouche claims that the "New World Order" is a conspiracy directed by the House of Windsor (the British royal family), which, he asserts, also controls the international Illegal drug trade. He claims the Fabian Society (of which H.G. Wells was a member) was secretly financed by the Royal Family so that the Windsors could gain control of the eventual world government. LaRouche asserts that as of 2006 the Neo-Conservatives (especially Dick Cheney) are working with the House of Windsor to set up a type of fascism throughout the world which LaRouche calls synarchism and which, he claims, the Neo-Conservatives hope will become the basis of the New World Order [15]. George W Bush and Tony Blair are thought to have iniated NWO.

[edit] Patrick Buchanan and the Council of Foreign Relations theory

Paleoconservative Patrick J. Buchanan asserts the Council on Foreign Relations (itself supposedly a front for the "international bankers", as well as, it is claimed, the inspiration for the founding of the Bilderberg Group, Trilateral Commission, and World Trade Organization) is behind the conspiracy.[citation needed] He claims that the liberals are planning to eventually subvert the independence of the United States of America by subordinating national sovereignty to the United Nations[11] [16]. This thesis agrees with the right-wing libertarian opinion[17] who sees a future socialist World State as the only way to achieve an Orwellian collectivist oligarchy freed from the need to subordinate the world's production to the consumers of a free market economy. The conspiracy would consist into replacing it with a monopolist planned economy capable of rationing the resources, converting populations into public property[18]. Their usual image is an egalitarian slavery under a global scientific dictatorship.

"For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents ... to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

- David Rockefeller, "Memoirs" autobiography (2002, Random House publishers), page 405

[edit] Apocalyptic Christian theories centering on the Book of Revelations

Some fundamentalist evangelical Christian ideologies about the conspiracy include a prominent religious element based on prophecies in the Book of Revelation about the coming of the Anti-Christ. They assert that agents of Satan are involved in deceiving humanity into accepting an international demonic order that has Satan at the core of worship. These beliefs often include explicit millenarianism. Other ideologies do not have a religious component, and view the concept of "serving Satan" metaphorically. Compare Pat Robertson's The New World Order [19][20]to William Cooper's Behold a Pale Horse [21], both listed under "Literature" below . The fundamentalist evangelical Christian view regarding the expected events leading to the implementation of the New World Order and the emergence of the Anti-Christ as well as the subsequent Battle of Armageddon and Second Coming is exhaustively summarized in the 1998 book Final Warning: The History of the New World Order by David Allen Rivera: [22].

[edit] Greens and the multi-national corporations theory

Some anarcho-primitivists, anarchists, environmentalists, ultra-populists, Neo-Luddites, and (very occasionally) bioconservatives sometimes claim that there is or may be an explicit (conspiracy) or implicit (bloc) organization of intellectuals, technologists, technocrats, intelligentsia, technophiles, and other such intellectual elites who view science as god in itself and push a pro-Technocracy, pro-Scientism, anti-natural, anti-environment, dehumanising, anti-freedom agenda. Generally, such notions tend to be connected to the theories mentioned above, related to capitalism and transnational corporations, with the idea being that technology is profitable, and human mediocrity is profitable, and thus, generally, capitalists and capitalist societies are in at least implicit collusion with technologists, intelligentsia, and scientists in order to pacify, standardise, dehumanise, technologically-saturate and commodify human beings, to create the ultimate global consumer society. Anti-psychiatry sometimes plays a role in such theories, as it is claimed that the fields of psychology and psychiatry are for the purposes of medicating the individualist instincts of people and creating a conformant "therapeutic society". Sometimes, the technocratic New World Order is said to have transhumanist ambitions, with the ultimate aim being to engineer life and thus control it that much more by completing the process of turning people and animals into things. Such themes are popular in science fiction: Technocracy (World of Darkness), Deus Ex, Cyberpunk.

[edit] Other theories

Although the United Nations is a central figure in some theories, conspiracy theory in the twenty-first century allows for the addition of many ideas that in the past might have been thought mutually exclusive. Extra-terrestrials (either the "Reptilians" or the "Greys" or both), the Trilateral Commission, the Illuminati, and other groups may be included in the conspiracy, in more or less dominant roles. Some theorists say a secret annual conference of the Bilderberg Group plans world events to establish the New World Order. Additionally, religious eschatology, often featuring the anti-Christ, is central to some theories, and irrelevant to others.

New World Order conspiracy theory may be presented by any who fear the loss of their ideological freedom and favorite policies, conservatives and liberals alike. A number of those on both the right and left believe that the left/right paradigm itself is a subversive creation of a New World Order-controlled media, intended as disinformation to divert people from their common enemy. This has been called "Fusion Paranoia" by Michael Kelly.

[edit] Postulated implementations

Just as there are several overlapping and even conflicting theories about the nature of the New World Order, so are there several beliefs about how its architects and planners will implement it:

[edit] Gradual takeover through economic colonialism

Some say the New World Order is being implemented gradually, citing the foundation of the Federal Reserve bank; American Imperialism and economic Colonialism, the formation of the United Nations; the formation of the World Health Organization, the World Bank and the World Trade Organization; the formation of the European Union and the Euro currency; the formations of a North American Union and the Amero currency, the Middle East Free Trade Area, the African Union, and the various Middle East peace processes as major milestones.

[edit] Military coup

The understanding of some believers is that the New World Order will be created by a military coup, using UN and possibly American troops, against all the nations of the world to bring about a singular world government. Before 2000, some conspiracists believed this process would be set in motion by the predicted Y2K computer crisis causing widespread social disorder.[12]

[edit] Black helicopters

Main article: Black helicopters

Black helicopters are part of some conspiracy theory thinking, especially among the US militia movement, that claims that special unmarked "black" helicopters are being used now in secret military operations and are going to be used by secret agents of the New World Order to implement their plans.

[edit] UN takeover of the USA; internment camps

Another related set of believers maintains that the United States is to be taken over, by troops nominally loyal to the United Nations but in fact controlled by a trans-national group (sometimes referred to as Faction One). The takeover is to include the detention of 'patriots' and those hostile to the conspiracy in secret internment camps in remote parts of the country, to which elements of the population will be taken for processing before being released as "work-units." (See Rex 84.)

[edit] Chemtrails, MK-Ultra, and UFOs

Other components of the conspiracy may include the dispersal of chemicals into the atmosphere via aircraft in the Chemtrail theory, the well-known CIA mind control experiments performed under the code name MK-ULTRA, and involvement by extraterrestrial aliens, as in the Dulce Base conspiracy theories.

[edit] The mental health system

The mental health systems of various nations have been cited as a means to keep dissidents in line. This theory has gained credibility among believers who are aware that historically, incarceration in mental hospitals has been used by totalitarian regimes to control opposition, and they claim that some, if not all of these regimes, as well as ostensible democracies, still do this. [citation needed]

[edit] Income tax, Social Security, UPC marking, and RFID tagging

Some Theorists from the Christian community believe that the New World Order is the rulership of Earth by the Anti-Christ, and identify the coming of Satan's reign with mark of the beast (666) mentioned specifically in the Book of Revelation (see Revelation 13:16). Because the Mark of the Beast is linked to the act of "buying and selling", this mark has been at various times considered identical with the collection of sales tax, the use of Social Security card numbers, and the bar-coding of retail goods with UPC (Universal Product Code) markings. Current theorists have implicated RFID tagging as well. Katherine Albrecht and Liz McIntyre, authors of Spychips: How Major Corporations and Government Plan to Track Your Every Move with RFID, wrote a new book on the subject from a Christian perspective.[13] John Conner, leader of an organization called "The Resistance of Christ" also believes there is a strong connection. Related subjects include eschatology (last things) and dispensationalism.[14][15][16]

[edit] "The Externalization of the Hierarchy"

In Alice Bailey's concept (see above), a Brotherhood of Mahatmas (among them Master Djwhal Khul, "The Tibetan") work on the "inner planes" to oversee humanity's transition to the New World Order. At present, the members of this Spiritual Hierarchy are only known to a few people, with whom they commicate telepathically, but as the need for their personal involvement in the plan increases, there will be an "Externalization of the Hierarchy" and all people will know of their presence on Earth. One of the results of this will be the "solution" of "The Jewish problem" by intermarriage of Jews with people of other religions, putting an end to Orthodox Judaism and paving the way for all people to accept Christ (also called Maitreya) as the Messiah.

[edit] Connections between theories and nationalism

There are many theories which feature a plan to create a one-world government. Most of these theories envision this as being done against the self-interest of the particular nation they happen to live in. Sociologists draw a connection between these theories and a more general sentiment of nationalism or isolationism. For example, prior to the rise of Neoconservatism in the United States, conservative or Republican talk show hosts such as Rush Limbaugh would criticize different politicians for internationalist positions they felt were not in the best interest of the United States. Commentators would allege unethical or conspiratorial conduct on by disfavored politicians in support of this criticism. These allegations might be similar to new world order theories. Historically this debate has most often centered on supporters of international free trade versus protectionists. Since protectionists generally believe that opposing a certain liberalization of trade helps their own country, it is then implied the free trade supporters are supporting a position against their own country. New world order theories therefore most often do not surmise that the believer's nation is working for world control, but rather that others, perhaps including powerful officials, are working to control that country and all countries.[17]

[edit] Theories about instances of historical manipulations

The conspirators thought to be responsible for the new world order are also suspected of staging many historical events such as World Wars and terrorist attacks. New world order theorists say that world leaders throughout history have successfully manipulated their people into wars using false flag operations. To support these assertions they cite what they consider to be previous examples of such manipulations:

* The Nazis capitalized on the Reichstag fire by blaming the Communists for it, thus eliminating support for the Communist party in Germany, and leading to Nazi domination of the legislature.

* The use of the Patriot Act in the United States (9/11)

* The state of emergency in Indira Gandhi's rule of India after convicted of election fraud

* The United States knew in advance of the attacks on Pearl Harbor, and President Roosevelt used the attacks as a "legitimate" reason for entering World War II.

* Operation Northwoods, a proposed series of false flag operations to be used as a pretext for an invasion of Cuba, was signed off by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, but rejected by President Kennedy shortly before his assassination.

* The Gulf of Tonkin Incident led President Johnson to escalate U.S. hostilities in Vietnam

* The Federal Reserve Act, designed to regulate bankers, was written on a private island off the coast of Georgia in 1910 by bankers representing the JP Morgan, Rockefeller, and Rothschild interests. This allegedly gave the top international bankers the power to control and manipulate the United States economy.

* Elements of the United States government knew in advance of the attacks on the World Trade Center and The Pentagon (9/11), the Bush administration used the attacks as a "legitimate" reason to enter Afghanistan, and later Iraq. It is also thought that the US may use similar reasoning to invade Iran, Israel, Lebanon and other countries in the Middle East as a foothold for the new world order.

Other new world order theorists see the conspiracy at work in globalization, or in the various intellectual movements evolved from Marxism, ranging from social democracy to the Frankfurt School. These are thought to be intended to homogenize cultures and values by political normalization, as in the European Union and African Union's gradual "communitarian construction" scheme of a common economic and legal framework.

Literature promoting such conspiracies often contain or presuppose a rich mythology of occurrences including the following examples of potential fundamental changes, typically with a USA-bias[citation needed]:

* "Black helicopters", militias organized from a combination of UN troops, paramilitary police forces and the National Guard; the imposition of martial law; FEMA operated dissident camps.
* National and local elections monitored by the UN, with an implication of election rigging.
* The UN assuming the sovereignty and responsibilities of the US government.
* Foreign military troops on US soil for alleged "peacekeeping" or "humanitarian" missions.
* The US constitution replaced by the UN Charter (requiring a redrafting of the charter, since the current form is not sufficiently robust, nor intended, to serve as a document of national basic law).
* UN control of a unified, global economy - Often correlated with Globalization.
* All cash money eliminated; currency or "credit" exchanges made using microchips, implanted or otherwise; See Smart card, VeriChip, the more recent Real ID Act - Often correlated with the Biblical book of Revelation 13:16-17:

[16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads [17] and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

* Ubiquitous surveillance of civilians, via cameras and implants.
* The execution, imprisonment, institutionalization, or marginalization of critics, artists, dissidents, religious figures, etc. as a means of censorship and control.

[edit] Annuit Cœptis Novus Ordo Seclorum

Some of those who believe that the Freemasons are involved in the conspiracy to create a New World Order claim[18] that the motto is inspired by Freemasonry, and is one of the clues to the True Masters of the World. By circumscribing the 6 pointed hexagram, or Star of David, over the pyramid, 5 of the 6 apices (the 6th being the 'All-seeing eye'), point near letters spelling S-M-O-N-A, which can be rearranged to spell Mason (also monas and moans, as well as the phenome "omans", which possibly could portend to "omens"). (In Hebrew the word "oman" (plural "omanim") means artisan or skilled labourer, hence the possible reference in the word mason)

Advocates of the theory also cite the 13 steps to ascend the pyramid, and the 72 visible blocks on the front. The Great US seal is also ascribed as employing heavily masonic imagery, with many believing the eagle to represent the masonic phoenix. The eagle holds an olive branch with 13 olives and 13 leaves in one claw, and 13 arrows in the other. The recurrence and significance of the number 13 is often attributed to its importance in numerology, and also to there being 13 degrees in York Rite Freemasonry. The Great Seal's eagle also has 32 feathers on the right wing and 33 on left wing (32 and 33 being the two highest degrees in Scottish Rite Freemasonry).

More conventional thinkers regard the thirteen steps as referring to the thirteen colonies.[19] If the blocks are correctly counted and their number intended, 72 has other mystical meanings: it was sacred to the Egyptians, as Plutarch says; and both Jews and Christians use it as the number of nations on the Earth. In Islam, it is believed that the Jews will divide into 71 sects, the Christians into 72, and the Muslims into 73; all being on the wrong path except for one. Muslims also believe that 30 false prophets (those who claim prophethood), "Dajjals" or anti-christs will appear on Earth to mislead people, and one of them will be the anti-Christ (false Messiah)[citation needed].
